Get To Know Your Professor - The Best Way to Start & Pass a College Class

on August 27th, 2013 in Every Day Tips

Most college students walk into class, grab the syllabus, and quickly head for an exit the moment the professor stops talking. This is a freshman mistake that could potentially cause you a passing grade towards the end of the semester.

What all college students should do is approach each of their professors, introduce themselves and make some quick small talk. This will help set yourself apart from the countless other student faces they''ll see everyday. I know this sounds a little like ass-kissing, but when it comes down to whether you'll make a high D or a low C at the end of the semester this student-professor friendly relationship will come in handy.

I've passed more than my far share of classes by having a good friendship with my professors. This doesn't necessarily mean having lunch with them or always staying after class, but it does mean staying on good terms throughout an entire semester. Just saying hi to them in the halls or saying that you liked their lecture that day will win you huge points. Then you can get back to your college apartment and relax!
